hi a friend of mine gave me a starview 1 clone he told me it keeps freezing pluged it in done fatory reset put latest software on still keeps freezing on every channel any ideas thanks

I have experience a lot of this lately, the provider is sending signal fluctuations, although 83% is the norm it can be a low as 72%. It seems the normal signal is to powerful,get yourself a variaable signal attenuator from B&Q £8.00 and turn it down and try that.

idont think the signal strenth is my problem when i plug in my eurovox theres no problems at all

I test mine at a local friends connection with no problems, so i checked all cables with no problems, I bought an attenuator and it solved it before that i never had any issues at all. I think some boxes are very sensitive to the fluctuations. Other than that the box is nackered.

yep it is proberbly nackered hes just told me its been like that from day 1 hes had it for 2 years so unless somebody else has any ideas its going straight in the bin
