Hi guy's, I'll try and give you as much info as i can, a friend of mine has a dream multimedia dm500c, now without updating the software i've been trying to put in the key's, i have the latest keys, so Im not looking for them :) my problem is ive got into nagra menu inputted the keys, rebooted but when it comes back on the station comes on for 3 seconds and goes black again, under cable provider im only getting 2 choices, dublinfast (uk) and sym6887 (uk) any help would be great, thanks!

best bet update the box with new firmware....as for the manually inserting keys,you have to do that several times...when you initially input new keys,the box for some apparent reason,changes one or more of the keys...its happened to several of my boxes...but in the end,its ok...

When you flash the dreambox, what is the process then required to get the channels uploaded

You will have to ftp latest rom files to your box for it to auto-update, plenty of tuts available on how to ftp, if you are stuck, just ask, no one will spoon feed you, but if you try a little, then people will help you out!!

download this guied and its all in there and if you need help go to that link above to asked we will b there to help
here is new guide with (apintofmilk) guide taken out and new put in sorry to anybody that problems due to old guide

tryed both went trough all the instructions downloaded both pc wont allow me 2 open the files tryed on my mates same results

how do you get to the flashwizard configurations and utilities page, managed to get the step by step instructions but not the actual page

my pc was given me trouble got in a pc doctor 2clean it up i had the page must have wiped it off dont know how 2 get it back HELP its driving me nuts im not an expert with a pc im a novice
