like u know what i mean like back up one of my games just incase the disk is scratch to the point it doesnt lay i dont really take good care of my games lol

like i said u cant do it with a liteon, u can use a samsung or benq with certain firmware but then they wont play games unless u change the fw back so that is too much trouble. or u can look into a kreon drive. wxripper method works but it is a lot of tinkering and you prob dont want to try it

Hey, I have an old sammy 360 drive that i was gonna just use to rip games with. do you know specifically what firmware i need? and is it found on xbins? thanks

I think what he meant was how do you make backups so he can play it on his lite-on xbox drive. If this is the case, then you need to get a special dvd drive (i think it's a samsung) and then put kreon firmware on it. Then use Xbox Backup Creator and there ya go.

And stealth is also correct in what he said. Samsung xbox 360 drives can be flashed with the 0800 firmware to make backups of 360 games
