Yes, I am having trouble burning 360 games.
I'm just missing a few more steps.
I have my 8.5 gig Duel Layer discs, a Pioneer DVR-1910 (with ReWritable
and DVD-R DL functions, Afro Samurai game (and extracted and DVD Decrypter program.
I'm at the point where you burn it on the disc (with iso already dealt with).
But it ask's that i should have LITEON and other CD drive's etc.
I try burning it anyway, and the game does not show up on the 360.
Instead it says play DVD and nothing really shows.
But if you're downloading the game from the torrent isn't that
downloading the whole game?
I mean, that's the game right?
So shouldn't it work as soon as you put it a normal 360?
you have (most likely illegally, but thats not for me to decide) downloaded a game that includes valid dmi, ss, and other copyrighted data and game data but the difference is simple. when you burn that iso to a dl you add that copyrighted data to a "track" on the dvd. The original had it pressed to the inner rings of the disc. So as Mike stated you must mod the dvd drive within your xbox !!!! This updated firmware will tell the drive where to look for those files instead of looking in the default location or where MS puts it. Simply, you must mod the xbox with the latest iextreme firmware. The rip or download burnt to a dl is "not" an exact copy.
