Hi, I've been reading posts here for a while but I'm a new user and first poster, thanks for reading.
Anyhow I'm fairly new to the xbox mod scene and I've been downloading iso's or ripping and then using ABGX360 to stealth patch and check the iso. Everything seems okay with that, then I use iBurn360 to actually burn the games, usually accepting the mandatory patch that has to be done with iBurn360. One day I used abgx360 again on an iso that I had "patched" with iBurn360 and it failed the stealth check and re stealthed the image.
My question is this: Does iBurn360 ruin the stealth? I've been playing about 30 different games on live for about 2 weeks now using this method, so far so good, but I don't want to take any unnecessary risks.
Also, are there any better programs for mac to burn games than iburn360? I have OSX360 but it seems like the development site is no longer around and I didn't want to use something that is out of date.
Thank you ahead of time for your feedback.

Honestly I am not sure if the patching iburn360 does ruins the stealth of images, however I do know that it is not necessary. The program OSx360 will burn a xbox360 image properly setting the layer break no problem. Even though the site is down right now, the program works just fine for burning XBox360 images on mac. It will not patch your images for you to make them stealth, but it also will not burn an image if it doesn't find the stealth patches in your iso. The only other successful way I know on mac is by running Parallels or Bootcamp to boot Windows and burn using imgburn. Also as far as I know, iburn360 and OSx360 are the only programs available to burn games on mac without bootind Windows.

Bump this thread as many as times as you like. As I've already stated to you, THERE ARE NO OTHER MAC PROGRAMS OTHER THAN IBURN360 AND OSX360 THAT BURN XBOX360 GAMES ON MAC. If you don't want to use a program like OSx360 THAT WORKS PERFECTLY because it's out of date, perhaps you should write your own program and update it daily so you'll feel better about using it.

Boot camp WinXP and burn that way. That would be your best bet.

I've pretty much only used a mac to burn and rip some games (until now since I just built this sweet computer, but that's another story). I run windows xp in a vm, and then use schtrom to rip, and then burn with imgburn. Always works for me. That's what I would recommend.

I am trying to burn the activation disc on a mac. I need to burn the activation iso on the FIRST layer. Both osx360 and iBurn360 have automatic layer break settings. How do I burn the activation iso on the first layer with these programs.

Hey, there is also a program called ISOx360. I think whoever made OSx360 said he is done with it, so ISOx360 is kind of taking over. However, before I got a benq drive and my Hitachi was on its last breaths, the only chance I had of it reading games was when I burned with iBurn360, so a lot of my games have been burned with that. I also noticed after patching it with iBurn360 that abgx wouldn't pass the game. However, I'm still ban free.

I'm not really worried about being banned from Xbox live since I'm already banned. :) Will the isox360 burn on the first layer like you need to for the activation disc?
