I'm trying to dump key from lite-on drive using Ck3 Pro and probe and a via sata card and usb. All that good stuff, I've dumped from a lite on before all went well. Next time I tried it I fried my my ck3 pro because one of the wires wasn't plugged in. I got a new ck3 pro but stuck with the old probe.
Anyways, I cant get a reading off of this thing ... every time i dump my card reads 00CCCCCCCCCCCC ... the guides say I should turn off my ck3 pro unplug my sata cable then plug it back in and then turn the ck3 pro on again. But everytime I do my monitor goes black and gets no reading from the computer and I think it restarts I'm not sure.
I'm looking for a little a help I'm following the guides to a T, the tray is half out, probe on R707, etc. Just looking for some suggestions, PLEASE!
Turn everything off.
Power up the pc, while it's booting turn on CK3 pro and hit eject. Turn off CK3 and close tray halfway. Power back on CK3.
Open Jugle Flasher .43 and pick your correct com port (mine is 3) and correct port (D800 in my case)
Hold probe to r707 and then proceed to try and dump the key, identify, inquiry, dummy.bin
I'm sure you tried all this before but I kinda streamlined the hell outta the tutorials.
I never had to do the unplug/plug the sata and turn ck3pro off before. I just dump my drive's info, and make a new fw. Boot to dos then run dosflash and erase/flash.
Weird but it's not the probe. It's more than likey a bad ck3pro, or the tray isn't in the right place.
