Hello everyone, I have a problem. I have the game "The Orange Box" and I cannot get it to install on the hard drive. It always gets stuck on 66%. It is pretty scratched up because my friend scratched it in his Xbox and it didn't work. It did not work until I went to a CD/DVD fixing store. Then I could get it to work, and I played it, But since I cannot install it on the hard drive, does it mean that it is damaged? Or will it just say "Disc Cannot Be Read" at some point in the game? Please Help...

My System Is The Xbox 360 Elite.

The bit it gets stuck on is the bit that it is unable to read, probably due to more severe scratches, you will probably be able to play it fine until the game needs to read the data on that section of the disk, which would result in the unreadable disc error.

just do this man . since your copy will not install to the hdd just go borrow or rent another copy of the same game. install to the HDD with that copy and then u should be able to use your copy just to have in the drive to get the game started but it will play from the HDD. so keep your copy set it aside get a good copy and install and then use ur copy to play with.....hope that works for ya.. i know this has saved the day for someone that had gears 2 and his copy got all messed up and he borrow a friends and installed ..no more problems and no purchase a nother copy

Thanks a lot dude!! It turns out that my uncle has a copy of the game, so either tomorrow or another day after that he is going to bring it down to be, so that I can install it on the hard drive. Thanks so much!! :D
