Hi

I have flashed my MS25 drive to Xtreme 5.3D. It plays originals fine. If i 'aquire' a game backup from a '''place''' that says these backups are ixtreme compatible and SS patched, do i just get the ISO and use software like Magic ISO to burn the ISO to a DVD DL, put in 360 and play straight away? Will it be ok on live?

Heres what i will do

- Get Game ISO that is SS patched and IXTREME compatible
- Use Magic ISO to burn Game ISO to a Verbatim DVD DL Disk
- Put disk in 360 with MS25 drive with Xtreme 5.3D FW
- Play game like a normal game

Will i get banned from Live and is there any more steps i have to do so i can play this game?

xtreme 5.3 is way too old to use on live. upgrade to ixtreme 1.5 and use imgburn to burn your files, and then you should be "safe" online.

Thats great thanks. I have got a backup of COD 5 and played online for about 10 mins with this Xtreme 5.3, will i still be ok?

I will upgrade to Ixtreme 1.5 today.

So far i have put my orig and hacked in the same folder as FE maker thing and copied over the key and spoofed the FW to a MS25. Do i use the tool supplied to write to the drive? Do i have to put my drive into 0800 mode as it is done through Windows.

if you have the ms25 drive you just get the ms25 firmware. if you still have your orig.bin just copy the key from that using firmware toolbox over to your hacked firmware then i use dosflash32 to flash it over to the drive.

Great thanks, i have flashed to iXtreme 1.5 now. So i will be ok on live with all games that are SS patched?

should be. run all your games through abgx360 just to be safe though.
