i did nothing and changed nothing just suddendly stopped working i can do all other stuff like ftp or play files from my pc but when i go to youtube script i can see the list of the videos i did search but when i choose one wont do nothing.....

who did it!!!???

...ok if anyone has a little clue of whats happening please help

i tried to run the script in my xbmc installed on my pc and it does the same thing so its not the xbox
and also i have tried in 3 diferent xboxs and they all do the same.

come on!!! anyone out there should know something.please

Sounds like a problem at youtube's end.

YOUTUBE its BACK again on my XBOX!!!
and a lot better than before.

creaky . i started googling from the link you posted. and took me to this forum form xbmc theres a guy there(borick) who knows everything about xbmc .

my problem was that i had an old xbmc build + old youtube script
shame on me huh?

now i am googling about how to upgrade xbmc in the right way .
the one that i used to try youtube its in the "apps" folder so it doesnt boot with that new xbmc.

Good stuff. I personally only use the XBMC builds that come with the AID (Auto Installer Deluxe) disc, whilst not cutting edge the XBMC builds are up to date enough for me, in fact i recently updated all my boxes via AID 4.40 so i've got the new 'Atlantis' build which is dated 2008-12-07 (which is the first SVN Build after the Atlantis Final).

As Varnull said, their are changes afoot with Youtube, just the other day i snagged a few vids off there (i use www.keepvid.com) but i'm sure all that will change soon enough
