NME-360 v2.5 Mod Chip

I am in the process of modding my Xbox 360 and I have decided to go the chipping route due to a lack of pc (only a laptop). Since I have a BenQ drive, it looks like the best mod chip is the NME-360 by Team Underdog. (if anyone thinks otherwise please let me know) On their website www.nme2.com they announced the new NME-360 v2.5. I have looked everywhere and cannot find their new chip. Does anyone know where I can get one, Im in the United States. I would really appreciate your comments. Thank You.

u should spend the money on getting someone to flash ur 360 instead. its much safer than soldering something on the board and probably end up being cheaper/quicker after u have paid for the chip and shipping and waited for it to arrive. what state are you in?

I am not really worried about the soldering part of it. I am experienced with that stuff. And I would rather do it myself instead of sending it to someone. I just don't know where to get that chip. Plus it would be around the same price as getting someone to do it for me.

im just saying u can get someone to flash it locally in person for cheaper than the cost of the chip and u dont have to wait for a chip to arrive. u can get the chip at many places have u tried google search?? http://www.google.com/search?q=nme+360&r...ex=&startPage=1 first result is official NME site. go there click "where 2 buy" u will get a huge list. i have heard good things of modchip.ca

Yeah I checked their website and the where to buy link and none of the websites have it. Google search didn't come up with anything either.

what state are u in dude? i am in western TN, mybe if we are close flashing can be an option. Also if i were you i would just check craigslist, there are at least 4 different people that offer flashing service in my area that post ads daily advertising this. prices usually vary 30-70 dollars but i wouldnt pay more than 50 if it were me.

U dont have to but it is wise. fw updates were comming often at first but now they are pretty steady. probably wont see a new one for awhile as all drive models have fw now including lite on. im gonna go out on a limb here and say that if we see moew fw updates it wont be for awhile and it would have to be specifically for something like if MS started detecting the fw and banning like crazy then there would be a immediate need for new fw but right now everything is pretty much locked down. there are many ppl still using 1.4 while 1.5 was released right around christmas this past year. 1.5 is the only fw for the liteons and is said to be more secure than 1.4 for MS detection but it isnt a required update if u already had 1.4
