Ofcourse that would work, if your granny feels ok having someone else use her computer for some illegal downloads. How far away is her house? Would a wlan router maybe be an option?
I personally have decided not to go through all the stress of downloading a game (with my DSL 1k, I can say getting Halo 3 was a pain) but to buy a Samsung SH-D162D off ebay and good old Kreon firmware and get my games from video rental. Takes like 20 minutes with a pretty bad computer (2,8 GHz AMD single core, 1 Gig RAM) to create a backup that is definitely stealth and does definitely work.
The burner you want to buy is ok (I got the predecessor DVR-112D, no coaster exept for the time I tried XBC for burning games), the price is too, just get CloneCD and you're good to go.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Yea but dont game rentals for xbox 360 games cost somewhere like 10 bucks? Gma lives some 5 to ten mins away, about two and a half miles or so.

im a bit torn to see whats cost effective. I found this guy has a site that charges 3 bucks a piece of burned stealth patch 360 games. To me thats the best thing i've seen. He/they only charges 3 dollars for delivery. So I bought 4 games for 15 bucks. Cant really go wrong.
I only want to do the whole burning myself thing when I only want one game and I want that one game not a lot of 5.
How long does it take for you guys to download a 8 gig file?

Its all good man.
To my understanding you have Ixtreme Firmware and Xtreme Firmware.
Get xtreme if you dont care about live and get Ixtreme if you do.
Ixtreme HELPS prevent you from getting banned on live.
xtreme firmware can play stealth and non stealth games.
Ixtreme can only play stealth patch games to prevent people from getting banned or if they are under the assumption that they are playing a stealth patch when its not. Ixtreme firmware is all about TRYING to not get banned from live.
Paste this in google - Stealth Patching XBOX 360? Games Tools&Tutorials
Download the torrent file. It tells you everything and gives you every program you would need to stealth patch your games.

Why would they knock on my door, I bought back up games and what ever happened to privacy. Last I heard it was legal to back up your games.

It was the first thing that came to mind being that the word piracy was thrown around so much. I apologize for the remark, truly it was my paranoia. I felt like I was going to be rated out or some none sense.
As to the site im bought off of, im pretty comfortable with that site. I didnt do a random search and vau'lah heres the site. It was a site from a site that had many great rave reviews about it.
I think if people were getting arrested from the site someone would leave a little comment.

BTW, you guys assumed I bought pirated games. I bought back ups to see if the modded console would even play them before i went buying a burner and verbatim disc.
