Ive made two coasters now using Ifoedit, can someone tell me what Im doing wrong please ???
Basically I have gathered the vob files I want and put them in a folder, then selected "create IFO files" then when Ive done that Ive been directed by someone to double click the audio stream and select 'English' and then overwrite and save. this gives me new IFO and BUP files. then when I burn the dvdr and play it in my standalone player the movie is there absolutely fine, but it has horrid green blurry subtitles BURNT on to the film with no way of removing them !!!
Please help me !!!! I just want the film with No subtitles at all
You want to get rid of the subtitles completely, Yes??
Ok:
1 - create a new directory called TEST
2 - run IFOEdit
3 - click open
4 - browse to directory your VOBs etc are in
5 - select VIDEO_TS.IFO and click open
6 - repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 for VTS_01_1.IFO
7 - click VOB Extras
8 - on the left-hand side, counting from the top, select (tick) 2, 4, 5 & 6 only
9 - on the right-hand side, select top 2 & bottom 2 only
10 - set VOB size == 1GB
11 - Browse the Desination diectory to point to directory TEST (created in step 1)
12 - click OK
13 - REMOVE the ticks from all subtitle streams
14 - click Strip it
15 - wait till it finishes processing, click OK
16 - In the top pane, select the lowest entry in the list
17 - Click Get VTS sectors
18 - answer YES or OK to everything
19 - click Quit
You are DONE.
There is now a valid DVD Structure in \TEST with NO SUBTITLES AT ALL.
