Hello. I just had Sony service my PS3 after meltdown following 2.6 update. The unit works fine now, but I have noticed something odd. When on the XMB and I load a disc, the screen on my Samsung LCD TV goes blank for a 2 seconds and says searching for signal before the game or movie starts. With a blu ray movie it does it twice. Is this ok or does it indicate some other problem. I use HDMI connection.

Unusual, try it with the composite cables and see if it does it as well to narrow down the problem.

I thought that that was normal. My 60gig has always done that.
