Help required for someone just new to computers please. My kids have a Wii and I am trying to down load games from the likes of mininova and want to burn them to dvd. How do I do this and step by step please if anyone can help? I have read forums and been advised to buy DVD-R Verbatim disc's and write at a speed of x4 but that's all I know so far. Once one game has downloaded it consists of many files but don't know how to burn then in the correct manor onto dvd to be able to play it in our chipped Wii console?

Before you get to that step please let me ask . . .

Have you hard modded or softmodded your Wii yet?

If you haven't you can burn games until the cows come home but won't be able to play them.

BTW, everything that you ask has already been addressed numerous times over in this forum. There are at least 4 on the front page of this forum that are in step by step form.

well it doesn't matter because that is blatant piracy and this should be closed.

I'm going to assume all the files you get once you've finished downloading are par2 and rar files. You're going to want to google for the following program "WinRar". Once you download that program, you can load any of the .par files included with your download and it will output an .iso file. Use imgburn, again if you don't have it google for it. You can then use imgburn to burn the iso to those verbatim dvd-rs you have and they should work fine. I'd suggest doing a little more research however in that make sure the game you're burning is the same region as your wii, or else if you update from it you can brick your wii.
