Ok so my PSP rubber contact strip is broken. Dont ask how cause i dont know lol... so i did some searching and is http://www.psxboy.com/797_PSP-Joystick-R...eplacement.html the same thing as the original rubber strip? they look kind of awkward.

EDIT: It says it is the piece needed but it doesnt look like it. It looks more like a cheap knockoff but ill buy it if it works or if it will fit.

UPDATE: I have ordered it along with gold buttons =D and when it gets here in about 1-3 weeks ill bump the thread and let you guys know if it works
Edit #2: Sorry forgot to tell you guys that if you buy 5 then each one costs 1$ USD but since i only need one... If it works im thinking about opening up (yet another) ebay store with parts except Ill be the only one who includes the Rubber contact needed lol

UPDATE: Ok so I bought it and it got shipped to me
Pros: None yet, I ordered an analog stick also because thats also broken so I cannot tell you if it works or not ATM

Cons: Does not look like what is described at the site
Its black... WTF the original bit is clear! I do not know which way is the correct way to put it, I am not sure if to put it with the black side facing down or the white part facing down... If it does not work when I receive the analog stick I will ask for a refund... and maybe buy the 11 dollar original one

UPDATE: IT DOES NOT WORK IT SAYS IT IS FOR PSP 1000 but its for slim...

I fixed my problem however, what i did is that I cleaned both the contacts on the board and on the stick and I submerged the original contact into some alcohol and it came out clean. Then I put it back on and I calibrated the stick( go to System settings > System information and move the stick in circles) and it worked! Its not perfect, it still drifts for a fraction of a half a second lol but its usable.
