Hi, I have an xbox with the Hitachi a46 drive. Can someone please point me to the correct guide for modding the drive to play backups. I have searched but there are so many, im not sure which one to use.
Can also tell me can I use the 1.5 iExreme firmware with my drive

There should be info in the Ultimate Sticky Sticky at the top of the forum to flash the Hitachi drive. I would recommend using Firmware Toolbox 4.8 in Windows to flash the drive. iXtreme 1.5 firmware for the Hitachi drive is not available yet, but will be soon. So if you want to flash the drive for right now, use 1.4.
you might want to wait a while until 1.5 for hitachi drives gets released. current versions dont support hitachi's. as for a tut, im not sure for that model.
