my 360 drive was broken (ts-h943a) fw ms25. i got a replacement 1 (ts-h943a) fw ms28 n change the chip inside with my old 1.. use iprep 101 v6 with ixtreme 1.2 to flash it.. everything when good the flash with success. try to play my backup game.. 360 say unreadable disc...
please help..

Possibly a dirty laser. You can clean it with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. Or the strength of the laser is not strong enough to read your back-up. You will need to do a POT calibration. But before doing that, what type of media are you using? By the way, the most current iXtreme firmware for the Samsung drive is 1.5.

Google XBOX 360 POT Calibration. The first link is a tutorial. When I said media, I mean what type of dual layer disc are you using?

is a Memorex dl disc. i got it from a friend that flashed his 360. the game work, just not on my 360....

Memorex ink isn't very good. That is probably your problem. Even though it works on his, it is probably killing his laser. You are better off with Verbatim Dual Layer discs.

ok, i will give that a try... which one should i get 2.4x or 8x?? is there a way u can tell if ur driver is flash right??
