Hi Guys,

I have a NT* mmds arial and using a Eurovox ex5000 and having no sucess picking up any channels here in Wexford.

I have 70% to 85% quality befrore doing a Powerscan and have tried all 3 symbol rates and they seem to scan on each from 1 to 770 but the TP 000 remains throughout and no Channel numbers change in top left.

After scan for aprox 30 mins no channels come through and when I press update channels it says No Transponder found.

I bought the Eurovox 2 days ago and am sure and been told all firmware etc all up to date.

I have tried a digivox T on this before and there is no signal so sure that it is Nt* as this is the aerial that was installed aprox 4 years ago but been cancelled for last 2 years.

Any help deeply appreciated.

Also not a newbie, some issue with email address so had o set up new account

Sure its Ch**us MMDS there and not N**, do you have a power insertor also and is it connected and powered. Obviously the Eurovox model you have will not work on Ch**us MMDS, but the Digivox T should have.

Yes have power, 12v Tv and Ant going to Rf in.

Was told that previous bills that arrived were Nt*.

When I used the Digivox T it said no signal being received so figured that it was Nt* and not chor*s. That is why got a Eurovox for Nt*. Seems I am getting a decent signal but don't know why no channels coming through. What does No Transponders Found And TP000 mean?

I myself have a digivox T setup on Chor*s in Carlow but trying to fix this setup for a family member here in New Ross, Wexford.

It is driving me nuts

Wexford drives me nuts too :) You could be right regards N** as there are N** MMDS feeds in the Waterford area which are just across the way. But New Ross is an ex CMI area and most of these area are now Ch**us, but for these particular areas a manual scan was required to get some if not all TPs

No transponder means just that as in no valid frequencies found. Sorry I cannot help any further but I do know there have been a few people who have tried in that area with both DVB C and DVB T boxes, with no success. I was thinking of paying a visit down that way just to take a look :) TBH I cannot see why it wont work, (given you know what type of feed it is first), all it takes is a bit of poking about :)

Send a pm to a guy called axxxo he is down that neck of the woods and from memory I am sure he tried what you are doing in New Ross a good while back, maybe if you put two "local" heads together you will get it working.

im having a problem in new ross too.
dm500c from the cable line outside , picks up a transponder on the chorus scan but no channels get picked up. i re try it no valid transponder is picked up. tried bruteforce method still the exact same . it might pick up a transponder but no channels will be found. and even freeze sometimes too.
i really need some clearence on this matter. i just wonder is it specific frequency mhz . which 6875mhz and between. the cable outside comes from the top of town and distrubutes around someparts of town. im wondering should i try a terrestial mmds box. cause i think the cables in the top of town are linked to a mmds reciever.

you can enter the transponders manually, I usually find this works with the eurovoxes

i leave in waterford and scanned in the channels down there , when i came back to new ross no luck. thanks for looking into it.
i just think the new ross area is just too old and bad cable routing with little servicing. tried carlow frequency transponders no luck either. new ross is just some kind of parnoramial or something. think i'll bring up a fm/tv diplex filter as i seen none at the entry points in the house. don't know if it'll help but just that all the houses in waterford have them , but none in new ross, so its just guess work after all the simple stuff here now from me might get lucky
