I am having problems getting my xbox to read burned games, I suspect its my DVD RW drive in my PC. I have a friend bringing me a game he has backed up to work tomorrow to confirm this. Which drives are good for burning xbox back ups? Im not to bothered about actually backing up originals, just burning the backups

I have a Samsung SH-S223Q (SB-03 firmware) and a Pioneer DVR-216DBK (1.09 firmware). Both work awesome and no coasters. I am only using Verbatims from singapore at 4x. I don't think there will be an issue with the Dual Layer burner that you pick, as long as it is a name brand model.

As you can see from my previous thread#s nero drive info screenshot, yes it is (they both are). Im using Verbatims from Taiwan.
I have a friend who is binging me a Singapore Verbatim tomorrow so I can test that along with a pre burned backup so I can determine if the issue is either my Xbox, Burner or media

Thanks for that, Im using a Samsung SH-S202J, do you reckon I should look into updating my firmware on this?
Ok I have updated to the SB-02 firmware now which is the latest one for my drive. I have not tested yet, so wish me luck. If I have any problems, Ill start a new thread (as it will be a new topic) later this evening.
