Cannot Invite Friends Online

I'm having a problem where i cannot invite friends to a game. It won't even let me select the option it's not highlighted. I also had a problem joining an xbox live party. Any help would be great cause i have no idea what to do. I did a test everything came out fine. With every game i cannot invite, here is my error status report if that helps

X:0000-F001
Y:20A8-4840
Z:0000-0000
ID:FFFF-FFFF

and in my port range forwarding for my router i have the ports specified by microsoft open along with my playstation and wii. I have tried with just the xbox codes but it didn't work.
