The process for 1.5 is listed there too. What it means is the button that says Benq unlock will not work. The other process is list too.
Load Jungle flasher, and select MTKFlash32 Tab
Then, select correct I/O Port by verifying PLBS VAD6038 shows in Drive Properties and click
Intro / Device ID
JungleFlasher will prompt you with instructions
Click Yes
When ??. are appearing, do as previously instructed by JungleFlasher.
Power off the drive, then within 1 second power it back on.
The drive should be in Vendor mode (0x73) now and return good flash chip properties, you can check in the Running Log or Flash Chip Properties, Drive properties should display Drive in vendor Mode

So the only difference between iXtream 1.51 and 1.6 will be 008 support? ( The ability to make the drive detectable in Windows thus enabling the original games to be backed up ) Can anyone confirm that there will not be any extra features than this?
By the way the creators of iXtream and JungleFlasher... are they the same?

You will be able to rip the 360 games to your PC hard drive.
it makes the drive detectable by windows then you can use XBC to copy them
Ok now that being said, what about the process of doing this? Will I have to take apart my xbox and pull the drive out of the machine? Or will this be done through the netword cable directly onto my computer, sorry I know this sounds like a newb question but i am just making sure...

You have to take apart your XBOX 360. There is no way to do this process over NW.

Just wait for the release notes along side with the firmware. Nobody for sure what all the new features are except for the creators themselves. There is plenty of info in the logs so just be patient. :)

I am new to forums but I know the rules. I am not here to post questions that are answered a thousand times in earlier posts. I have done plenty of searches and I know we must be patient for 1.51 but my question is, does anyone know how we will know when it is released and where to check. There are alot of sites out there that you can download the firmware but who knows how punctual they are with updating their content. I do have auto xbins but I am not sure if I have to update that or if it does it on it's own.

Yeah I did read that someone said it would be released today which is fantastic. I am sure there are many more like myslef sitting on the edge of their seats waiting. I just read somewhere that you can never be sure of the validity of some posts. And the most I saw was to be patient and it will come. That's obviously the only option, or should I say, the mature, selfless option. I just wanted to know how I could know for myself when it was released instead of being one of these bludgened posters who constantly post when where's

A friend of mine, used the tutorial mentioned earlier on rebuilding the iso of H.A.W.X. It worked, but he got banned on Live! I told him to be patient and wait, but he wouldn't listen.
Let that be a warning to all. Be patient and wait.

This goes to show how effective the iXtreme firmware is against MS security. HAWX has been out for 3 days and this guy already got banned for running a modified ISO. iXtreme keeps us safe! :)

yea really if you are smart enough to rebuild an iso then you should be able to flash fw also... but so many people think it is so hard so they pay 50- maybe even 100 dollars to get flashed. its amazing they those same people arent also paying 50 per backup. Oh yeah, craigslist is full of these. People post ads to get the game 2 weeks early, people buy it, go home and play it, and BAM.
no more XBL. If more people on here did some research on things, there would be less clog in these threads.
