Correct because your xbox won't even read them. You need to have it modded. Do everyone a favor and search.

i like the ability to rip with a liteon and it was going to be even more great if there was a way to rip em games without opening the console al the time.and you guys are a day behind me this morning i dug up online for the new ix 1.6 and got nothin.15 may 09 and its evening already and no ix

Anyone know how the ripping is even going to work? I only have the 20gig drive. I hope it gives a network rip option. Still not there at 12:04PM Eastern time.

yeah just buy a spare drive off ebay and use that to do your rips

Yes but you still need your xbox modded to read it. Kreon drives can rip 360 games.

install a sata passthru to the dvd drive to hook up to the PC and rip game. or get the blaster thing or xeno topgear which is basically the samething

so with 1.6 you can rip games with ss 1.5, but what about if I want to use my kreon drive? will there be an update for that firmware to rip the new security sectors?

like i said before i don wanna use kreons or hot swapping but only a 360 liteon plus 0800 disc and yes my 360 is modded by me ix 1.51

when it does that it usually means new fw is ready and they are letting their own people get it first and then will open xbins back to public. so shouldnt be long now.
