I bought a dspro9 with wii clip to use on a d2c wii that i had. it broke and still under warranty. i took it back to hmv where i bought it and they gave me a new one. got the wii d2e with epoxy on the board. so will my d2pro9 with wii clip work on this new one? im confident to take off epoxy using a heat gun or blow dryer and taking it off. should i just get a neww wii drive? and also will dsun work on the d2e? i saw a diagram where i only need to take off a small part of the epoxy to get to some points to solder the chip.... 7 wires i believe..

can anyone help me out??

Hi KingJude
See my reply in your other post. But just a heads up removing the epoxy is harder than it seems. It is easy to lift traces or solder points off the board if you dont get the right temperature ;-) there are a few horror stories out there.
