Question about formatting homemade hard drive

I just finished flashing a western digital hard drive. I just need to format it now. My 360 has been freezing alot lately, and I am curious as to what will happen if it freezes during the formatting process. Will it F up my hard drive or will I just have to start over. Please let me know what you think, thanks.

Well if it freezes during a format, it's not going to destroy the HDD or anything like that. If you just power the system off, and try again, you should be fine.
