system link wireless Help please

I have two 360z hooked up to 2 routers with dd-wrt fw on them. One is connected via LAN wire to my primary router that is connected directly to my modem, the other 360 has a lan wire connected to a router that i am using to connect wirelessly to my home network and to go on live. I start a lan game in COD4 on one system and try to join it on the other. Now the problem is that i can see the other system has a game started and when i try to connect to it i cant. It attempts to connect but fails. I have already searched on google and found nothing that was helpful.... any ideas ???

it counts to 4 and then says cant connect to host

check firewall settings on both routers
