How do I get a file to be ready to burn. The file I downloaded is not in rar format. My burner does not see the file as a iso. I got the file off torrentz.com wii nascar kart racing. please help

Telling us what the file extension is might help. Is it a multi-part archive? .r01 .r02 exc? Or perhaps they used a different compression format? .zip, .tar, .7z?

nkrw-dgr.001 this is one of the files, the rest are the same. if you could go in to the website and look at it and see. I have downloaded over a 100 games and this one is new to me. Thanks for your help

I think I downloaded the same file.

What worked for me was to open winrar and then go to "file" then "open archive" and then choose the file.

Or you can just drag and drop the file into winrar once you have it opened.

I'm not sure what kind of file it is, but it worked for me.

It is a winrar file, its the same format as .r01 .r02 files. Just a slightly different file extension. Open them with winrar the same way as you would any other multi-part archive.

Thanks guys, It worked. I had to change each file to winrar format and then unzip them to a iso. It took a bit of time but it worked. Thank you for all your help.

I have had this happen a few times.

The easiest way to do this next time you have this issue is to right click on the first file and choose Open with... then choose WinRAR in the list of programs.

It should then load fine in WinRAR.
