I recently tried to burn a game that had a .000 and a .dvd file that didn't work, I'm still running 1.4 non stealth and this game is one of the games with the new video sector or the third wave or whatever. Most games come with a .iso instead of the .000.

So I'm a little confused. ... Is there a certain way to burn games with the .000 extension?
Or am I wrong in thinking that 1.4 non-stealth FW would play this game?

Delete the .000 and rename it to .iso. I'm not for sure if that will really make a difference though. Open up any folder and Tools, and click Folder Options. Click the view tab and remove the check mark from the box that says "Hide extensions for known file types". That should allow you to change the ".000" to a ".iso"

will that change anything though, wont it just change the extension?

I'm just wondering, I've tried this on a sammy, a benq and a spoofed liteon/sammy ... none of them play the game. They were all flashed with 1.4 and play all other games fine.

The game burned fine nothing to speak of I've just never seen a file with that extension

Just an idea, can you mount the .000 with deamon tools and use IMGBurn to change it to a .ISO?
