Could someone please tell me in detail how to
patch the new wave 3 games to work on fw1.5
I have seen posts that say you can, but not how
to do it..
Before you flame. I do no use Xbox Live, and dont
want to flash my drive again.

Yeah, don't waste your time. Just wait and in a couple of days, you can flash the new firmware to your drive, and your problem will be solved. Actually since you don't care about LIVE, just flash the non-stealth firmware to your drive. That is if you have a BenQ or Samsung. If not, just wait for a couple of days for the new firmware. That is a lot easier than trying to rebuild an iso.

Here is how its done:
1. Start XDVDMulleter
2. View ISO Details
3. Choose a Wave 2 Game ISO to extract the (PFI) and (Video Partition)
4. Extract PFI and save it to hard disk.
5. Extract Video Partition File and save it to hard disk
6. View ISO Details with Wave 3 ISO - Select [No] When Asked to try and repair unknown video section.
7. Select (insert video) Under the Video Tab - Select [No] When asked Auto Insert Video.
8. Insert the Wave 2 Video Partition that you saved to your hard disk.
9. Extract DMI under the stealth tab to the same place as PFI and Video Partition.
10. Reboot mulleter and choose Build/Rebuild an ISO
11. Load the Wave 3 image and click Next
12. Choose Create a cloned DVD9 ISO und click next
13. Choose Load from source ISO und click next
14. Now choose Load from files and load the (PFI), and (DMI) files you just extracted
15. Click on Make ISO and save it.
16. Under (Other) Tab Select (Make .dvd File) and Save
17. Burn the ISO with the DVD file
*Note*
Even though the image will pass Stealth Checks, I would not
recommend playing on Xbox Live, because it has a modified
video partition and might red flag your account.
as I mentioned I don't use XBL and really don't want to flash my
DVD rom at this moment.. I'm gonna wait till all the smoke has
cleared before flashing, now that MS knows this will spoof the
firmware mods, they might change the video partition more often.
anyway use this technique at your own risk, I can verify that it works
100% on ix1.5 (Not tested on live) for current wave 3 titles as of 3-4-09.

good work, im glad it was figured out. im not going to flame you for wanting to do so, if you dont play online this is better than having to spend money and buy your own via card if you had someone else do your flash.

Hats off to you!
Since you don't care about live, I would just flash the non-stealth firmware to the drive and be done with it (that is if you have a BenQ or Samsung). No more rebuilding isos everytime a new game comes out.

good job figuring that out. I certianly wouldn't do it (personally) because I use live. But for those that don't, this will definitely help.

Well done, this is the way that i,m going to do it as I also don,t use xbl.
Just payed $70 2 weeks ago to get my drive (lite-on) flashed, forgot to ask for the keys bin ect.
Maybe a dumb question but will this work using the hotswap method ? witch I use.
Or do I need to buy a keron burner.

ill be doing it this way,i just got my premodded console,delevered on tues,with 1.5 firmware,and i dont no anything about flashing a lighton drive,so loolks like ill be rebuilding all the new isos

everyone please remember DON'T do this if you EVER do or plan on using xbox live. If you want to play game bad just rent until 1.51 comes out.
Originals work. And if You NEVER use xbox live just reflash to 1.4 unstealthed and you don't have to worry about all this iso modification.

You need to read more. Originals DON,T work, Reead first post in 1.5---1.6 firmware thread. That is how all this came about.

Really though if you were just trying to back up games you own not pirate why would you need to edit an iso and make xbox unable to use live instead of just play on original for a week or so until 1.51 comes out?

That post is from March 2nd before all was confirmed the post i referenced to is from today with someone actually trying an original game with Ixtreme 1.4 and it works. Its in several other post also that one was just someone confirming it to work.
Also C4EVA would know and he says originals are unaffected. If you dont know who he is look it up.

Anyway hats off to whoever found this, I would have to pay somebody to flash it, and I don't even care about live, so, this is great.
It should be stickied,could you just point out where are the tools needed?

Just wait a few more days! The iXtreme 1.51 is done, and being tested at the moment. Supposedly it will be out by the end of this week.

hiya
i know this is a bit off topic but will i be able to still backup my games(3rd generation) using my kreon drive and xbox backup creator as i have done thus far or will there be any problems.
