You have to get file from an existing wave 2 game iso.

i got a question for you all
please answer only if you are 100% sure of the answer
i see people saying you can play wave3 games by patching game
but also that if you play live you will be banned
so my question is this, If i never play the game on live but play other wave2 games on live is it possible for me to get banned ?
thx in advance

yes details of each game are stored in the cache and sent to MS when you log on. whether you played them online or not. But No one can tell you 100% if you will get banned because no one knows 100% how MS does the banning.

its pretty easy, but i dont know if that would clear data that microsoft collects....i guess it would, but it also delete your system updates and such
so i wonder would it delete something important for the flashed bios ?
also it wont delete games save, demos, videos, etc...
google is your friend...just type in 360 clear cache and you have lots of links :P
but here it is for your lazy hands :P
go to system and then select memory
press y on hdd symbol and then x,x,left bumper, right bumper,x,x

so can anybody confirm that clearing the cache will prevent microsoft from collecting data ? therefore preventing them from banning us if we play wave3 games with 1.4 or 1.5 by patching a game ?

no one can confirm it 100%. I will confirm that it is a known theory that this would work. No one knows for sure how MS gets the data. But assumptions can be made because there are really only a few places it could be stored and later retrieved.

btw when you are banned are you completely banned from live ? e.g download, browse stuff etc. or does it only prevent you from playing games on live ?

Better yet, why not use ppf-o-matic3 program to patch the iso? I got it from a private torrent site that I use and it came with the patch needed (v14-15.ppf). I patched my iso in one step and it works fine....although I don't use xbl so I can't say it's stealth patched.

to GACG
when you patch the game to work on older versions it becomes unstealthed or something like that, so if you patch a game you are most certainly certain to get banned...thats why im asking the question above

i never use xbl anyways so i guess it's the best solution if you don't go online with the 360. :)

ppf-o-matic3 just makes it easier for ppl with banned consoles to play wave 3 games without updating the firmware so having it stealth patched and so on is useless for a banned box so for those with banned boxes might as well use unless u want to update the firmware.

I have those games, just don't care much for the downloaded content. Playing games online or getting new content has never really caught on for me. I'm an ols fashioned gamer, what comes with it is what I play lol
