Okay... this might be a nooby question... but I couldn't find a better answer.
I want to know how to flash a new XBOX 360 myself? Is is a must that I have to have a COM to SATA converter? If My MOBO comes with inbuilt SATA can I use it? Some detailed steps will be much appreciated.
perhaps a good place to start would be 'flashing for dummies' book, as it explains everything you need and need to do to flash your console. or read the ultimate sticky as im sure your questions are answered in there as well.

are you serious??? they are the HUGE BIG BOLD THREADS AT THE TOP OF PAGE ONE THAT READS 'ULTIMATE STICKY.' i mean i guess i can see how that would be hard to find and navigate yourself to.

this is why i keeo saying the title "Ultimate Sticky" is not good enough. people dont know what that means, esp if they dont use forums often. Lets rename it something like "How to guide" or "360 modding Instructions" something similar. i think we might knock the dumb questions down a good 1-5% i would hope

Okay... please don't think that I'm being rude or anything... But I do spend most of my time in posting, blogging, etc... I'm very familiar with forums, blogs, etc...

The main problem with the forum is distractions... Too much advertisements and messages... It is a bit hard to locate the post itself... At least for a person who multitask like me :)
Yeah... now I noticed... Those threads with BOLD letters... But why on earth they do not have different icon for Sticky??? It will be much easier for the users to differentiate if they have some different icons with different colors...
And the other thing is t says "rules first" and blah blah... I think a Thread topic must reveal what it contains... precisely. Any new member will have hard time guessing or realizing what is really inside that thread. A simple "FAQs and Guides for XBOX 360" or similar title will do best... :)
Well "Read Second" is closed and put in the first position... "Read First" is in fifth place... I think if they are in order it will help us a bit to realize these things are special threads at least...
And I think it is better to keep the Rules in one thread... rather than linking the same in other sticky threads

yea i agree the stickies are confusing. i thought so when i first started here too and i didnt even realize they were there till much later. i know that sounds dumb but it is true. why we still have tuts for Xdvdnulleter is beyond me since that app is basically useless now with the creator passing away equalling no further updates/support for it.
