I just got a wii with mod chip installed, but I don't know what mod chip is it. The wii is PAL version. I tried to burn some iso. Some work, some don't. Those that don't work is able to read by the wii. I can see it from the main menu and when I open it, I can see the picture and listen the music, but when I tried to run it, the screen becomes dark and nothing shows up.

The games that work are Mario Kart and Fifa 2009, but the one that don't work are Wario Smooth Moves, Rayman TV party. I thought it is the problem of the iso, so I try to get another pal iso, but it's the same.

I burn all the above using the same software and speed (4x) and dvdr brand (Memorex dvd-r).

Did anyone know why this happens and how to solve it? I don't know if it is the problem of dvdr, games, mod chip, burning software, buring speed or what?

Thanks so much!!

There's your problem. Memorex discs are bottom of the barrel. Try Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden brand discs with a max speed of 8X. Burn with ImgBurn at 4X speed.

Thanks for your answer! I will try different DVDR brand. I didn't know if it is the problem of the brand because it sometimes works well.
