Can't get Wiikey to work with backups

I've installed the wiikey and it can't read any backup disc I use. I'm so frustrated that this is the last resort I'm trying. I've been reading for days and I just can't get it to work. Any advice would be appreciated. Below are the steps I've taken.

Wii Version D2B, no missing pad or legs

1. I've Tried 1.9s firmware, 1.9s config disc, GCOS 1.3 Config Disc, Hacked 1.2 and Hexed 1.3 Disc. I've filechopped it prior to burning. The media I've used are SONY DVD-R, Fuji Film DVD-R, and Verbatim DVD-R. Everytime I put one of the disc in it just states it can't read it.

2. Recheck Soldering points and checked continuity with points to legs and all connections look good. No bridging either. All solder points are shiny. Used the short wire method.

3. Originals can still play.

4. Wiikey is authentic as I bought it from modchipcentral.com

I don't what else I can check for.

If you can then take a picture of the install.

Try burning the .isos at 4X speed with ImgBurn. Maybe your Wii does not like -Rs. Try Verbatim +Rs instead.
