Hi can anyone help me, Ive been given a 6230i without a sim and I'd like to unlock it, I have no idea what network it was on and it just comes up with "phone restricted".
Help please???????

(You have to try all SIM Cards the one that works is the one the phone is locked to)


Please supply ALL this information in this format:

Type in these numbers or look under the battery to get the information.

IMEI:Type (dial) *#06# ,
Firmware Version:Type (dial) *#0000# .

Nokia: (Model)
IMEI:############### (No spaces, no slashes)
Network: (The Network the phone is locked to)
Country: (The Country the above Network is in)

And as far as I know it was on Tesco Mobile and its the UK.

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

Press # From The (Insert Sim) Screen
Enter codes WITHOUT spaces.
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)

Thanks for that but that phone just keeps coming up with "Phone Restricted" and a flashing "stop"?

If I could please ask you to try another that would be great thanks

I think it is hardlocked. I think it was hardlocked from the start.
Just to make sure, try a unaccepted SIM and see if it works.
If it does not work, you will need to take or send it to your local professional OR stay on 02.
