I have been searching and searching....I find links here to upgrade/downgrade/midgrade/hi-grade/low-grade/..whatever...Half of the links are to OTHER links that don't exist or have nothing to do with the subject at all...
I have downloaded, installed, formatted, re-formatted, re-installed....and still nothing.
I do not want to here a smart comment about "Search the forum...it's here..." I have been searching. And searching..
My PSP is a version 1001...a fat psp....MoBo Ic1006...Firmware v3.80 OEM....There are NO CLEAR threads to explain what EXACTLY needs to be done. YOU search and tell me if I am wrong. Every thread tells you Pandora and Magic Mem Stick...with 5 more people arguing about whether the suggested procedure is right or not...Giving links to different files...some links work...others do not....and I am exhausted and confused.
I have my own website and I can tell you this, guys. No disrespect intended and I appreciate all the info and time you all have put into this PSP hacking vein for all....But it needs to be organized, updated and cleaned out.
It would be a lot easier for all if the respective firmwares were listed in the main forum threads. i.e, v3.71 as a parent thread...v3.80 as a parent thread, etc. with all the pertinent info in it's releveant firmware thread...
I would REALLY like some help, but, after reading the hundreds of replies, I am honestly AFRAISD to ask for help without someone trying to point out my stupidity! Maybe some of your veteran users here should re-read the forum rules?? Courtesy and consideration should be given by ALL users here...not just the 'nOObs'....
And you may need this HYA:

I have also come to the conclusion that you do not read the sticky's which collect all the most important threads at the top. And sorry for the links, I didn't feel like giving 5 pages of step-by-step procedures when guides can do it for me.
Well you had "..." at the end of your post, an ellipses. Sometimes when a person says thanks, followed by an ellipses, it means they are being sarcastic.
Hard-modding can be dangerous. If you can't buy a pre-modded battery, be careful is the only advice I can give.
