I am trying to repair a rrod problem and while taking off the x clamps, the screwdriver slipped and scratched my motherboard. Is it a possibility that i am getting a rrod error because of this?

If your camera has a macro function then you can try using that for a more focused picture.

It would depend on how bad the scratch is on the board, did any of the traces get cut. Is there any damage to the components on the board. Even if you cant see any damage there might still be something wrong, finish the repair you were doing and try it out. That's all I can really say. Hope this helps.
