Ok, so i tried to softmod my friends xbox via hotswap, and it wouldn't unlock, so i installed the splinter cell exploit with unleash x, but i didn't like the settings because my friend isn't real smart with software and the format menu was open while it can lock on mine. So i backed up the eeprom and FTP'd it to my pc, and i restored the xbox back to the original dashboard. Then i used XboxHDM to unlock the hard drive and install the Ndure softmod with unleash x(which is what i have)after i was done i locked it and booted up the xbox with it and it went straight to black after the splash screen. so i unlocked it and locked it with my xbox's eeprom and it loaded up fine on my xbox it went straight to unleash x dashboard. So i FTP'd the TDATA, UDATA, and C/ backup and created a new XboxHDM cd with his eeprom and created a hard drive from scratch and locked it and so on... It booted up to MS dash and i tried to unlock it and install Ndure on it again but it just booted up to black again. I decided to go with the Splinter Cell exploit instead and tell my friend not to format it no matter what. But i would just like to know if anybody has had that problem so if i run into it again in the future, i know what to do so it doesn't load to black, Because i much prefer the Ndure installer to the exploit.

By the way they were both version 1.4/1.5 xbox's if that helps. Mine was 1.4 and i didn't have time to check his but i know its version 1.4-1.5.

try my cheater 1.4 files

This includes both a C and a E file/folder placement so make sure to place them in the right locations.

You can either ftp these to the drive or use xboxhdm. When you start your xbox it will boot avalaunch.

I just downloaded it and unrared it with no problems so i know it works.
