ok i finished campaign, i decide to go to cod4 online, it works for a while, i got up to rank 6, well i shut ps3 off then turn back on an hour later to play with friend, i click find game or yes to an invite i get a window that pops up saying downlaoding game setttings which i saw before, so i think maybe 2 mins at most, sat there for half an hour and nothing, it just keeps going, and yes my other games work online, warhawk works, bad company works, and lbp works, this is onyl game with probs with online, any solutions

ok i got connected this morning, so im good for now ill, probly have to assign it a static IP and i think that will fix it

Hi sky920 , i had exactly the same problem as you with cod 4 , the screen stays on downloading game settings for like ever....the only way i got around it was to reser the router everytime i wanted to play it online which sort of sucks.....never have a problem with it on my 360 though...strange. Anyway if you come up with a solution it would be good to know.....good luck
