Hello there
i got a starview 3 box, that I have time several time to flash but no hope. I am not a newbie on starview flashing stuff I have flash quite a lot of box.
But this box I got rite now just give me headache. it was previouly flash by a 7.08 flash don't know how
I have tried to get to enter menu 1570 or info 2004 but it doesn't want to open the secret menu. I have done lot of google search but didn't get any that could help.
I am tired to work on the box hope someone out there could help
It will be much appreciate

Now press menu, parental control, press ok.
Now press i then 2004. Move down to Key Emu and change option
to on. Press ok , then exit back to TV Screen.
11. Go to scrambled channel and wait on keys updating.
12 That should be you.

Thats free to air firmware you need to update your box with the latest firmware.

ok Will tried it tomorrow.
Any ideal why i CAN'T flash the box. I think this box hasn't been flash before. it said on the system info API ver: 7.08e; boot ver:8.0; 18.april.2008

Yes you are correct, the box has never been flashed before, it comes supplied with that Firmware FTA (And there is no way on earth you will enter cas System menu with that) as was explained above, exactly why can't you flash the box, if as you say you are used to doing the Starviews, what is the problem exactly.

Yep, there is some good players over there I am going to have a little look after, but I can honestly say that I am totally out of my comfort zone on them there games lol :( really embarassingly so :(

yeah when pressing menu >> system information it shows 7.08e firmware loaded. I know how to flash a starview box I have flash quite a few box. the problem I am having is that: the box won't flash I have tried all different satrview flash from 7.09 to 8.04 which is the latest. But no hope. even when I am pressing menu 1570 or info 1570, 2004 or 2007 on parental control I can't still get into the secret menu.
Hope some1 out there know the problem I am having with my box and could help me. I would really appreciate.

Well post what is happening when you press Download on the Unified Loader, what does it say on your PC and how does the box react, is it in Standby. It will continually to show that in System Information until you have flashed it, so it is no use you trying to enter the Cas system, as said it will not let you, try and clarify what is happening? - what response do you get?
Delete the Firmware you have and download this one and Flash your Box with it, and post what it say's if it does not flash.
