jf: drive seen in drive windows but not vendor window?

ive been at this all day. i cant seem to even get into mode b. i eject the drive, unplug power, plug power back in. hold trey open till center light on flashes. my drive shows up in "my computer" and in the drive section of jf, but on the left it says no drive detected. i try to click on "send mode b" but nothing happens, the program just freezes or runs and runs. once my drive is detected in the drive section of jf do i need to close the drive or put a movie in it? obviously im missing something. any thoughts?

Look at the answer I provided you in the other thread. You hit send MODEB while the drive is already ejected and powered off.
