super box displays LD80

I have read up lots of posts about this and still can not find any way of solving it. I have reflashed with 600e, 705e, 802e each time i have waited for the download complete banner to come on which it has but still no joy the box says boot then displays the LD80 and then the lcd stays black the box will not respond with the remote ihave been told to keep trying the flash method but everytime im getting the same does anyone have any other suggestions thanks......

Hello scouser no i have not tried that 804 to be honest for some reason i thought 802 was the last one.will i find that in eamos library if i can i will try that in the morning and report back thanks or the info....

Just tried 804 still the same thing happening it downloads ok says download complete. box displays boot followed by LD80 then the lcd remains blank. will keep reflashing for a litle before i have to go out.

Try an old version just to see if it boots, it takes a few seconds after ld80 to boot.

Steo thanks for your help as you can see in my earlier posts i did try earlier versions with no success . However i have just found a version 601e that gets the box working again so THANKS VERY MUCH. So i reflashed then with 802e as that auto updates the box but then the same thing happens boots up displays ld80 and stays blank. As it now if i put 601 back on and insert the magic numbers im up and running again. Have you any suggestions on why it wont take the other software 802 or any suggestions as to what i could try to get it to auto update.....Thanks again mate at least its working now.

if it can only run 6.01 there's a chance it may be defective or a clone or maybe it's just not working right. did you try factory resetting before flashing 8.04. try from 6.01 straight to 8.04 and if not go from 6.01 to 7.09 to 8.04 and see what happens. trial and error.

when i put the 601 on and checked it was working i then factory reset and done the 804 but same results. So just put back 601 on and inserted numbers all working fine i can live with puting numbers in so would just like to say thanks again steo as the box was ready to be binned cheers mate...
