I see in order to update your FW to 1.51 you need the original FW. A friend did my box a long time ago and the original is gone. Is there an FW i can download and use or do i need the one exactly that came from my drive? If I am able to download it, could someone please provide a link to where i could get it. Thank you!

It's a hitachi. The FW is never erased, only patched. You can restore it to original with Jungleflasher. Then you can just patch it with the 1.51 FW.

You MUST restore to original before you re-flash. If the drive won't restore Jungleflasher, download the ixtreme 1.4 for hitachi package and use the resotre.bat file within that.

So jungle flasher has built into it to restore my hitachi 79 back to its original FW (without having the original firmware .bin file) and then i can have it flash it to 1.51?

Yep, it'll also get it into modeB without SLAX. If jungle flasher can't restore it though, use the one I told you about in the above answer.
