well, its not a file i downloaded, its a movie i made in windows movie maker, and WMP11 and classic both play it with a codec mega pack, im thinking it lies with iether me having vista and not getting along with ps3, or connection speed, i get a protocol error 2104, if that means anything and my connection speed caries from 10-50, wireless *sighs* :(
When installed , You will be able to see this PS3MEDIASERVER on your PS3 , browse to your video file that wont play but dont go straight to the folder it is in goto the "TRANSCODER" folder first . (eg) below but use the path your file is in !
c:\my movies\30th birthday ..... this wont work.
c:\my movies \ TRANSCODER \ 30th birthday .... this will work !
If you play your video file from the transcoder folder it will convert the video whilst it streams so no more codec issues or long conversions of video file types .
