hi there, i was hoping somebody would be able to help me, i got a backup of mario galaxy running on the wii using gamma loader, i dont know what version, i burned it on a dvd+ sony and a maxell dvd-r both on 4x when you start the game and bowser comes out everything starts lagging, and the sound is very bad. i was wondering if it had to do with the cds or maybe the loader or if it could be something else. thanks

The issue is with the Gamma loader, and I am not sure if it ever was really resolved. I got around it by just getting a game save that is immediately after the intro cutscene. That should allow you to atleast enjoy the game. Alternatively you could always buy the game/use your original if you already own the game.

thats the funny part, i actually own one, but everytime i put it in it says an error has occured, please press eject bla bla bla and it would work once out of 20 or 30 times resetting, anyways if its only with the intro scene i can live with it anyways, thanks!

I've read that the issue with Super Mario Galaxy using the back-up loader is that the back-up loader only reads games at a speed of 3x compared to 6x the Wii is used to reading games at. From what i've read this is where the issue comes in with cut scenes lagging, but apparently the actual game play works fine. It's just the cut scenes on this particular game that is the problem.
