????why cant i do the twilight hack on 3.3u?????

i've installed homebrew on roughly 8 wii's so far and for whater reason when i run home brew on any version under 3.3u it freezes when you go up to the first guy or when trying to run backward???
source where i got the hack wii.brewology.com ive always just generated a pack from there did not check if i have the same issue from the softmii site

when ever ive done it to 3.4 ive just ran it it with no problems at all downgraded then added softmii

my cousin would like to get his done i just dont want to go there and have it freeze on me does it make a difference tha i bought zelda not even a month ago???

i would normally just upgrade but he doesnt have an internet connection can anyone point me in the right direction.... thank you

nintendo trying to be sneaky or im just F-Ing it up

seems like your are using the wrong game save.
3.4- twilight-hack-v0.1-beta2
3.3 -twilight-hack-v0.1-beta1

Also you need the internet connection to completely mod the Wii.e.g. to load IOS downdgrader and cios for the launcher.

There are 2 versions of the zelda disk for US regions. If you have the old one then you load the first save game on the select save menu, if you have the newer one then you load the second.

Thats the only thing I can think of that could cause your problem.

RVL-RZDE-0A-2 USA this is the region of zelda i have which should i use whenever ive done it on 3.4 ive always used save slot 2

except when i did it on 2.3 used save slot 1 it kept freezing

Apart from the Country specific versions (3.3E 3.3U 3.3J) there are also two different versions of 3.3. Depending on what version you have either 3.3_v1 or 3.3_v2(October 23 update) determines the steps you should take.

Since you already done 8 mostly in 3.4u, do you think you can accomplished all on your cousins Wii in 3.3u (v1 or v2) without internet access?like installing WADs,loading the backup launcher and also downgrading?

The Twilight hack for 3.4 is different for 3.3 users. So if your trying to run the twilight hack with the same hack you used for 3.4 on the 3.3 then you have the wrong hack version.

3.4 has its own version.

3.3 and below firmware has its own version.

So make sure your using the proper hack version.

(Do not get this mixed up with the 2 versions of NTSC(U) game disc).

I don't think that is correct.

The OCT 23rd update blocked IOS/WAD files from being installed (but the TP hack still worked).

The OCT 23rd 3.3 firmware (IOS/WAD) fix was out before the 3.4 firmware update ever came out. So you had to use the 3.3 TP hack version with the OCT 23rd update to fix the IOS/WAD file install issue.

The 3.4 update was an attempt to block the TP hack which it did but just for a short time till they updated the TP hack with the 3.4 version.

So the twilight-hack-v0.1-beta1.zip version of the hack should be used on ALL 3.3 and below firmware.

The twilight-hack-v0.1-beta2.zip version should be used on all 3.4 firmware.

Go HERE and download the 3.3 twilight-hack-v0.1-beta1.zip file. Copy the private folder to your SD card and overwrite the files when it asks. Then copy the proper game save to the Wii and boot the game like previously and choose the second game save.

Your correct!

There is a difference between 3.3v1 and 3.3v2 and the approach is different for each version but it is not the TP hack that is different. I was (wrongly) assuming that the OCT 23rd 3.3 firmware (IOS/WAD) fix was part of the TP hack, which it isn't.
