Hi.

I'm Looking for some help with finding the channels for this box.

I recently purchased this box and installed the latest Firmware (UFL_EX1000SL_v1-0_DarX.rar).

I have done a quick and Deep scan and have found no channels. It is finding TV1, TV2 etc but when i go out of the menu all i get is a blank screen with NO SIGNAL across the screen.

Can anybody shed some light on anything i might be doing wrong. The Firmware installed correctly and i can browse the Menu and scan but that as far i get.

I have a Starview which has scanned all channels no problem so i'm a bit mystified as to why i'm not picking any up with the Euroxox box.

Thanks in advance for any help, Stu.

Are you using the correct symbol rate ?

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Yes, I downloaded the area codes and i'm using 6887 for NTL in Dublin. I did a factory restore and did a quick scan and got about 30 channels but they are cutting out every few seconds and i am getting a Bad/No Signal screen.

Should i re-install the Firmware? or is there a problem with the actual box.

I have my NTL cable going into the RF Out connection on the back of the box. I prresume this is correct and the Scart going into TV on the back of the box and then into the scart on the back of my TV.

Is there anything else i should be doing? Thanks.

Sorry, i meant the RF Input. There is a loop out connection and a tv + vcr scart on the back of the box as well but i have my NTL in the RF Input.

I am picking up some stations but they are breaking up and i'm getting a bad signal/no signal error on screen. Any more ideas on what i can do?

Breaking up etc. is usually a signal problem, so you might just make sure all your connections are in nice and tight. Are you using any splitters etc. or is the connection going directly into the box from the N*L connection ?

I've checked all my connections and they are all tight. I've moved the box into 3 different rooms and still have the same problem. My starview box has never had any signal problems and is picking up all stations without picture break-up.

Is it possible that the box is faulty. I bought it from a guy who bought a starview pvr and he told me that the box was working in February then all the channels dissapeared. I upgraded the firmware yesterday, did a factory reset and powerscan, then deep scan and manual scan and still i'm having picture breakup and crackling noises.

Can i roll back the firmware and manually input the codes and if so where do i find the older firmware or does this firmware not work anymore. Thanks for all the replys so far.

I'm not using any splitters and and the box is connected directly to my NTL connection. I have a connection in 3 rooms but the signal is good in all rooms. The firmware i installed yesterday appears to be good because i can browse the Eurovox Menus and scan different frequencies etc.

I could buy a signal booster but if my Starview works fine how could it be a problem with the signal? I'm not really sure what else i can do.

Have you tried loading a CDF onto the box and see if that gets all the channels coming in ok?
