Why is there a VIDEO folder in the ISO folder?

After I formatted a card (w/4.01m33-2) I saw I had a VIDEO folder in the ISO folder. Also have the regular VIDEO folder in the root. Is this normal? Does it have a purpose? Do I leave it there or can I delete it?

If you rip a video from umd then it goes in the video folder that resides within the iso folder (which makes sense when you think about it, cos your iso's come from umd).

The other video folder is for your mp4 videos.
