Ok i have a modded nintendo and i have previously installed the twilight hack.
Now i have downloaded some WADs.
DO i need to run the hack again? Or can i just copy the wads to my SD card?
I know ppl have posted before how to load the wads but its never been clear if any mucking around was necessary if the twilight hack had previously been used..

hope this helps:

1.Copy the wad file you want to install to the ?WAD folder? of your SD card.
2.Launch Homebrew channel and look for WAD Manager
3.Select ?WAD Manager? and Start.
4.Press "A", to detect the SD card.
5.All WAD?s in the SD folder will be displayed.
6.Select WAD you want to install using the D-pad.
7.Press + to install.
8.Press home or any key to return to main menu otherwise install more WADs.

Hello,
Download Wad Manager HERE
1. Extract files to your desktop
2. create a folder named "apps" on your SD card
3. Rename the Wadmanagerv1.3.dol to boot.dol
4. put the boot.dol file into the apps foler on your SD card
5. Load homebrew channel
6. follow wiizards guide from step 1

I read elsewhere i need to downgrade from 3.3 to 3.2 - but i havent (woops) but all seems fine.
Is the latest (1.3 version etc) made so no downgrade is necessary?

No you don't need to downgrade, that seems to be common incorrect rumor. You will be fine as you are.

Wiizard,
Feel free and safe to upgrade as updating your wii's firmware brings no harm to your wii. Although, some homebrew applications and exploits are blocked in this firmware version, there is a work around for this check this thread if you want to upgrade go ahead, and follow the "wii fix" part of that guide after you upgrade. NOTE: you do not have to downgrade at the end if you do not wish to.

just by copying does not harm the Sd card or Wii, installing the WAD to Wii?? depends where you get it and if you trust them, what region is the game...again WADS can semi brick your Wii..so it is your own risk..

Got the wads from pbay, the readme file says:all region free
A collection of 53 WiiWare-titles, all region free.
I have the wad program installed already just looking to add some new wiiwarez to my system...think its safe ?
