Its perfect for SD streaming though I wonder how they will do it, its going to need a 10GB+ storage device for cacheing and such.

Hell Nin could slap in a up converting system and HDMI outputs without losing money on current unit profit.

Nin has the funds lets see if they can put them to good use.

Who cares!!!!

Streaming is crap quality unless you pay out the wazoo for it. Just saw the Netflix streaming...............UGHHHHH..........terrible quality.

I'll just download from BitTorrents and if I don't want then I'll delete it when I'm done "renting" it for free.

So you must have a bad video card in your computer or no memory or slow internet. Because when I stream it looks like a DVD. Did you see screen that says it's checking the speed of your system? Did you think you had a fast computer?

H
Why would it need 10GB+?

...Roku...does not have on-board storage capacity for more than a few seconds of buffered video
...and works fine, you just need to maintain a certain Mb internet speed...

My boss showed me on his core 2 duo laptop. Standard not-so-great video card in that thing. 3 GB memory. Wasn't a video card or h/w issue. It was fuzzy, and though watchable, definitely not DVD quality. Your standards are just low. Get your eyes checked too.

Not sure how the streaming looks on a TV, but on my PC, looks GOOD. Maybe because I am not smoking all that good stuff that puts the fuzz on your brain...Or tell your boss to dust off his screen once in a month...
