If there is a fix for Kryptview does that mean fixes for Replay and starview will come soon?

Hopefully soon, there will eventually my advice is just wait and see ;)
let the coders work and then thank them.

Does the fix extend to Eurovox MaxV?
Sent PM to ScOuser but it seems that he might not have got it.

1 box fix is arnet only,when others are it will be posted everywhere ,no point in pms to the mods they have enough to do and reading the current threads also helps.

Yeah Setan Irl is back.That was weird. Disappeared for an hour or 2...Read somewhere that Sly sports would go at midnight last night but its still on N@L Dublin. Have to make the most of it.:)

so what does this mean then? they have not switched to nag3 after all at the moment,its just a fix required?

They have, but at the moment there is also N2 on the named channels, which with hackets keysets From a N2 card allows the channels to be decoded.
The kryptview team must have these keysets, but i doubt they will release em as if there the only reciever decoding the channels there sales will rocket.
But when N2 gets switched off leaving just N3 they will also go down as N3 is currently unhacked.

People pay for basic package on nthell to use these boxes, when they switch to nagra 3 then people won't want to pay them even for basic analougue. They will either get satellite freview or pay for sly but not nthell so they're basically losing money for themselves.

I dont think that will happen as sly do not have a phone or broadband service if they had i would say yes people would change
But as only UPC have this they are not going to change due to the packages they are doing at the present time
So al this hype of people changing over i dont think that is going to happen

I have done it myself fergusb. You can unbundle the tv and keep the broadband. Saves ?16 a month. In fact when you do this you still have the tv feed coming in you just no longer pay for it and if you had their stb they take it back.

yep but on a 16.00 savings you will not get a sly family package for that so that is what i mean so why bother to change well that would be my take on it

True. In my case I already had the Sky so it was no loss. The lack of HD will not do upc any favours also.

Just purchased Sky HD & a Sony Bravia - Mindblowing stuff.
UPC are going to lose out big-time in the coming years - talk about biting off your nose to spite your face in the bringing in of Nag 3.
Apparently Sky though have put on huge pressure on UPC to bolster there encryption system or they could withdraw some of the premium services from UPC.
Serious money has been lossed on this Island because of Nag 1.

I have this firmware on mine and it works perfect... check the system info to see if it flashed to the latest update properly... let me know if if does and i can guide you from there. regards

Downloading was successful... system info says v1.2.0 pv2.2.00 19/03/2009
tp's are there but still no channels...

ok .. on menu... automatic search press green and wait for tp search.. choose dublin legacy if in dublin. there should be about 19 tps ... where are you based???
