and your linux box is still not working either so what does that say for them also
people are looking for boxes that are working at the moment by the time the rest get around to fixing the problem there will be new ones and what will happen then mmm maybe another wait for more fixes

It is working, i also pay a sub thats how things work pal.
Its your attitude that has UPC beefing up encryption, your nothing but a "the bloke down in the pub"
For years ive been used my good old dbox, and the best part was the modding and images that different teams worked on, much more development than any other box.
Not just buying the latest box tho get "all the channels"
The reason people have giving up on fixes is because of leeches that want fixes on demand.
I doubt you even watch tv, your on here all the time.
Ill actually be glad when N3 solely is in place and no box will work, and the traders will be done with. They ruined it for everyone.

It's just an algorithm. If one box can decrypt Nagra 2 then so can the rest (most likely). They just need the right software. And unless ALL the boxes are being sold by the same company, which is hardly true, then it is in competitors interests to get Eurovox, Dreambox etc working for at long as possible before the "uncrackable" Nagra 3 arrives.
Don't say Nagra 2 isn't doable on other boxes just because Kryptview is the only one that currently has support. Has anybody tried taking the decryption algorithms from the Kryptview and putting them in a patch for the other boxes?

poor support from the other box makers, the kryptview guys got their finger out very quickly this time & released a temporary fix for the current UPISSY managment key ecm, I'm not calling it a fix for N2/N3 that would be going to far,

what did you want?an exclusive little club were only a select few could watch free tv.It stands to reason as soon as people heard about these boxes they would all want one,which leads to supply and demand.I certainly am not looking forward to looking at a blank screen,i can't believe the absolute snobbery of the linux brigade.

Every tool in ireland could get a box, come on here and get the keys when they went down.
Most of yous caused this problem, leeches who dont even pay minimum subs.

well as far as i no it would be impossible to use any box(with the exception of mmds boxes) without even a minimum subscription.And caused what problem?do you think u@c would allow this to go on forever?

Oh you are a sad case sorry to disappoint you you might have a dbox but it aint working mate that's for sure
as for the cable company updating their encryption well that is their own decision they have to move with the times like all company's do
and if and i say if they do go N3 just remember your box will be still gone unless there is a fix done and about sub i have a sub myself actually to sky so nothing lost also and just because i am on here a lot of the time does not mean i do not watch tv
